This basket loader is designed to fill a movable-bottom basket with layers of cans or jars ready for sterilisation.
The operator places an empty basket in the machine’s loading zone, where a hydraulic platform raises the bottom of the basket to the loading level.
Incoming cans or jars from the filling line are arranged into layers and when a layer is complete the horizontal carriage transfers it to the basket.
After each layer is loaded, the operator adds a plastic divider and the hydraulic platform lowers by one layer ready to receive the next layer.
When each basket is full the operator extracts it and replaces it with an empty one.
